This post will be about Dragon Age: Origins which I started for a bit today, and the new Twilight movie, New Moon, which I saw last friday.

I’ll update this very post tomorrow or later this week, so keep watching it! I’d do it now, but uh, the sexy and very handsome and sometimes old, bald and semi-fat security-person should be here to tell me to kindly leave soon. So I guess I will.

First off, the new Twilight movie! I have to say it was far better than the first one! Not sure if it’s because the producers had some more cash to spend after the first movie, or if they simply learnt a lesson or two after the first, but nonetheless. By far better than the first! Which makes me glad, because the books were quite good!

But before that, I just felt like adding this:

Now, I went with my dear ex (Linnéa, but you all knew that), and I think apart from maybe one other guy (who was probably gay), I was the only guy in there. Me, a gay person (like Brendan<3) and fifteen-thousand jailbaits going WEEEEE~ every time a hawt guy appeared. Which was literally every ten seconds. And yes, I admit, I too squee’d like a little girl. Because, let’s face it, if I wasn’t a man I’d be a girl! Chew on that for a minute.

I have to admit Edward is my favourite (wow, what a shock, I’m a vampire-guy, who would’ve guessed?), even though pretty little Jacob Black was (in Bella’s words) very beautiful. Until he cut his hair, that is. I have to admit I have a thing for Jasper too, though, oh, and since I’m actually still a guy (amagad) I’ll have to mention Alice as well. I like Alice, she’s very KAWAII DESU~, ya?

Oh, and I guess…

I’d mention Jane too, but I think that’d get me in jail.

All in all: the movie was way better than the first, and worth watching.

Secondly, Dragon Age: Origins! Me and a few buddies from uni have been playing it for a little while now, and that game is HARD (again a reference to Brendan, now that he’s a manly man)! I mean, sure, we set the difficulty to hard so no wonder it’s slightly, well uh, difficult at times… But I find that the hard modes in most games are piss easy, or at best, challenging. Normal mode in Dragon Age is challenging. Hard mode is hard like a huge, giant, massive Washington Monument!

Bottom line for Dragon Age: Origins? Definately worth getting! It’s not the best game ever (Diablo 2, FF-VII, etc…) but it’s sure worth every last quid.

Left 4 Dead 2 releases this tuesday, exam on friday… Priorities?

For those of you who care (doubt there’s anyone but myself!), my HDD still haven’t arrived. With some luck, I’ll have it by tomorrow though. Then I’ll finally be able to get on with some Dragon Age goodness, and possibly install some of my old games. Can’t wait to start playing Diablo 2 again, and having Gears of War and Crysis around is also nice when you feel like shooting things without an internet connection. Didn’t really like Crysis, but meh. It’s still entertainment.

For some reasons, things edited in Photoshop on my OLD laptop, looks COMPLETELY different on this laptop. :/ So uh, can’t wait to get Photoshop on THIS laptop, so that I’ll have some idea of what things look like.

Gonna be a lil bit of text this time, so I’m gonna post along some assorted YouTube videos, both musics and others! Enjoy~

Hopefully, this weekend, I’ll order me some new HDD space for my laptop. As most of you know by now, I was smart enough to order my laptop with a total of 160GB storage space. This might have been enough, uh, five years ago… But as it stands, a hundred-and-sixty gigs just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Why I didn’t just order more storage when I ordered the PC?
Well, mainly because of th… SHUT UP! :( By the time I was ready to click “BUY” I had completely forgotten about the HDD options, and thus, here I am with an insanely expensive laptop with more or less NO storage! :D

How awesome is that??

Anyways. My aunt’s boyfriend (with the awesome name of Thorgrim) and I am going to open up my laptop and see what we can do about it. Most likely I could just order any kind of laptop HDD and connect it myself, but there MIGHT just be some complications with my motherboard or power outlet, so I figured I’d have someone else look at it as well.

Should be fine though. So if all goes according to plan I’ll have more storage space ordered over the weekend, arriving hopefully before the next weekend, then installed, armed and ready for some new programs!

Shaun sent me this, I do think that boy needs therapy.

So, what will I install on my shiny new HDD?

First of all I’m going to order Adobe CS4 Design through my university for massive discounts. So I’ll have Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator installed as soon as possible. Boy I’ve missed Photoshop…

Secondly there will be some (just a few!) games to be installed!
I’ll order Left 4 Dead 2 off Steam, and probably install it before the release. I’ll install Oblivion again, Crysis, and of course my beloved Diablo 2! I’m considering to buy Borderlands and Dragon Age: Origins as well, but I figure the others will keep me busy for a while.

If they don’t, I guess there’s always World of Warcraft and Guild Wars as well, though I have to say I’m getting fed up with them both. And I’ve been playing WoW for how long now? A month, maybe? :/

As some of you might know, 30 Seconds To Mars is about to release a new album. Together with the creators of Dragon Age: Origins they’ve created a little preview of what seems to be both a great new game and album!

Can’t wait to get some more storage space. Yet, I really don’t know what I look forward to the most; Photoshop or games… At least there’ll be some more pictures around once I get photoshop back! Cropping images with paint just won’t do, and posting fullsize pictures CERTAINLY won’t do! So, here’s to Photoshop! <3

So, a lot of things has happened in a relatively short period of time lately. I’m not going to talk about it here, some of you already know of it and those who don’t can ask questions if they feel like it.

Anyways, have a song to lighten up the mood a bit. Most of you have probably seen it, at least you United Kingdom bastards, but still, is fun.

This goes for the Norwegian subway too, in a way, only the subway in Norway fucking sucks. It’s small, and horribly organized.

I’m mostly blogging now just because I feel it’s time, been a while, and if I don’t blog every once in a while I’ll end up stopping completely. I just don’t seem to have the time anymore, what with all the school and crap!

AND I’ve left my camera back at my parents’ place, so I can’t take any photos to put in here as well, to make it all more interesting… SO I’ll try to get that done during the weekend, but no promises.

On a related note; I’ve decided to buy Adobe CS4 Design Standard, I get some pretty kickass prices through my university. It contains Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, which is basically all the ones I want! Isn’t it fun and great and also fabulous? :D

Yeah, sure, I know I can illegally download it and get it for free, but hey… With the prices I get, compared to the full price, it’s as close to legally free as it gets!

Changed the colour of my keyboard again.

Today has been a pretty damn annoying day! Let me walk you through it, step by step!

Woke up around 10, good time to get up, get dressed, and head towards the subway to get to university. My exams started at 12, so yeah, sauntered along at a relaxed pace. So far so good!

Get to the place, find the room, get the exam papers. First page, good good, all stuff I more or less expected. Second page, yus, mostly things I know. Third page… WAT? More or less EXACTLY the few things I DIDN’T know! I swear, that last page had every single goddamn thing I hadn’t had time to properly revise!

Worked through it, no idea how much of it I got right, wrote down some stuff I knew was horribly wrong and slapped on a giant :D at the end, maybe I’ll get points for humour… :(

Got out of the room, walked towards the subway to get back to the appartment. At the subway I get stopped by a big ass policeman and his slightly more feminine woman partner. I get ready to kick their butts, but they tell me that there has been smoke and shit over at the next stop, so the subways don’t go in my direction right now. So I decide to tell them to fucking carry me home, but then I remember the trams, and decide to ride a tram instead! Because trams are pretty cool guy.

Like a merry midget (one that isn’t as much a midget as a not-midget, and not quite as much merry as gloomy) I skip along towards the closest tram stop, and get on a tram that’s headed in the general direction of my appartment. The tram, of course, had other ideas. More or less 100m down the street, it goes BEEEPLOL and stops. Seems there’s a problem with the power network for the trams. Driver guy says it’ll probably be about 15 mins, but I’m tired and annoyed so I decide to sit around and wait.

Fifteen minutes goes, slowly. Nothing happens. Another fifteen. About this point I’m more or less ready to take the damn tram and toss it at the nearest hobo, so I get out of the bloody thing and start walking. As I evidentally should’ve done from the start.

It’s windy as hell, and I don’t have my scarf, as I intended to take the GODDAMN SUBWAY back home. Now, those of you who know your way around Oslo know that from the city centre to Majorstuen (where I live) it’s more or less up-hills all the way. By the time I get to the appartment, get the keys to the car, and leave the parking lot I’m cold, tired, in the middle of rush hour and have a headache growing faster than the impending doom of everyone within reach. STONKING GREAT, EH MATE?

By the time I got home (four hours later than planned) I was so exhausted that I sat down on my arse and builded some lego with a rat.

YES, RAT. AND LEGO. FUCKING LEGO. It’s awesome, seriously, I used to do it all the time when I was a small little satan, and my lil sis (who inherited all of my lego) had decided to dump it all on her bedroom floor. So I sat down, and builded me some darn lego-awesomeness. Pictures below!

Been studying my arse off the last two days, reading about a lot of boring stuff like how the computer is set up, what the different types of hardware do and why they do it, etc. When it got to the point where I started finding the horrible horrible nerd jokes funny (01000100 01100001 01101110 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01100111 01101000 01100101 01111001 00100000 01101100 01101111 01101100 01110011), I figured it was time to take a break.

Messed around with a photo of me in photoshop and ended up with a pretty interesting result! It made my face look like it was sexually abused by a rabid bull, but I bet some (see above binary joke) would say it was a change to the better!

Anyways, I liked how the colours and such turned out!
